These Bristlecone Pine trees are part of the Patriarch Grove about 12 miles north of "that tree" I post a lot.
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is home to some of the oldest trees in the world. Patriarch Grove is high up in the White Mountains and elevation is 11,000 feet above sea level. It is magical up here… or just seems that way because of the thin air 😀
These trees are probably covered in 7 feet of snow by now. If I had the money, I hire a helicopter to fly me up here to photograph these trees.
